Following a recent funding donation through Devon Music Services, I have been involved in a website design and build in order to draw together music making groups, services and individuals in the East-Devon area.
The site currently collates a directory of local musicians, teachers, venues and services, as well as a growing calendar of events and a news blog. It is free and open to all to join, and I look forward to it's formal launch in August.
To register free, or see what it can offer you, visit www.exmouthmusicnetwork.com In addition to making a useful resource, it also highlights an interesting model for other areas to consider.

Dormant Stories is a project of my own, born from my love of writing, but frustration at never having time to persue one idea to fruition. This website is a catalogued collection of writing ideas, story starters, advice and banks for writing at KS 2-3, and teachers looking for ideas for their pupils.
The site uses a range of blogging tools, as well as news feeds, RSS, newsletter subscription and tags, categories and search facility to help the reader locate ther desired writing stimulus.

RunCraigyRun.org is a small charity based site, dedicated to the fund raising work of one Devon runner, Craig Butler. The site uses multiple blogs, galleries, a calendar, and a well integrated comment system to allow him to share his fundraising and training progress with his community, and to get instant feedback, support and ideas.
Integration with a vimeo group allows smooth streaming of viedo content, and a gallery tool helps members organise, rate and comment on pictures from related running events.
Related accounts on Facebook, Twitter, etc are fed current news automatically via RSS feed, as is the feedburner RSS subscription, allowing visitors to subscribe to news as RSS or via email.
The site is integrated with the current charity's online donation tools, to allow instant monitary support, and a visual progress counter to help measure the level of funds raised.

"We have been absolutely delighted by the quality of Worldbeat-Media's work. Highly professional, always friendly and attentive to our requirements. The Opera Engine website is beyond anything we hoped, or budgeted, for."
Tim Satterthwaite, Director, Opera Engine
Opera Engine is an up and coming opera company based in the South West of England. Their dynamic and creative team needed a website which would showcase their projects in a highly visual and eye catching way, whilst allowing them to take control of the content themselves.

St Josephs is a very well respected Catholic primary school in the heart of Exmouth, Devon. They educate children from nursery through to year 6. They needed a website that was highly visual, communicating the amazing building and grounds that the school enjoy, as well as providing easily searchable and engaging formats for frequent newsletters and announcements from a range of classes and subjects. The content managed site we constructed allows for all of this, as well as a document download, website directory, photo galleries and member homepages for each staff member.
