Workshops and presentations are offered to groups of almost any size, covering many of the major world musics, or different genre and instruments. Sessions can take any form, based on your requirements, and include practical 'hands-on' sessions with authentic instruments, and group 'jamming' once the fundamentals have been learnt. Often sessions / courses can culminate in a group performance. It is possible to cross-relate aspects from various cultures if required, and for sessions to include teaching about the historical significance and context of the music.

As an experienced classroom teacher and subject leader as well as a musician, Anthony Lees is comfortable leading sessions with classes of children, groups, clubs, societies etc, but also has the relevant CRB (police) check in place to ensure his suitability to work with children as well as adults.

As an alternative to a one-off workshop, a course of wider opportunities style whole class instrumental lessons can give a group a more indepth understanding of the instrument or genre considered. Contact Anthony to discuss a tailor made course to fulfil your needs - he is happy to advice on the suitability and pracicality of each instrumental group for your setting and context.
